Apple Watch Series 8 could be available in three sizes
- Next year’s Apple Watch could ship in three sizes.
- Despite large improvements to the display with the Apple Watch Series 7, there could be a larger display on the Series 8 as well.
Although very little information was shared, Young says that to not “be surprised if there are 3 sizes next year…”, following on from a tweet that asked if people wanted to see a larger display on next year’s Apple Watch.
Apple recently unveiled the Apple Watch Series 7 in slightly larger 41mm and 45mm sizes, with 20 percent thinner bezels and slightly larger displays. Despite rumors of a flat-edged redesign, the display improvements were the main aesthetic change on this year’s model.
A larger display could tie in with the rumored redesign from the Series 7, although it isn’t clear whether or not Apple has scrapped plans to launch it. The third size could also be an updated Apple Watch SE, potentially with thinner bezels, following on from the Apple Watch Series 7.
