Apple Watch Series 7 orders preparing to ship ahead of Friday release

Some customers who have pre-ordered the Apple Watch Series 7 are receiving notifications saying that the order is now preparing to ship.

This usually happens at least a few days before the device will be shipped to customers, although it doesn’t mean that orders will arrive early. Apple works closely with shipping carriers to ensure that orders largely arrive on release day. The Apple Watch Series 7 will also be available in Apple Stores from Friday 15th October, although stock is expected to be limited. The Apple Watch Series 7 has larger 41mm and 45mm displays, with 20 percent more screen than the Series 6. It also has brighter always on display technology, faster charging, an S7 chip and new Midnight, Starlight, Green, Blue and (PRODUCT)RED finishes.

Apple has experienced manufacturing issues with the Apple Watch Series 7 and only announced the pre-order and release dates less than one week ago.
