Apple Watch Series 7 orders preparing to ship ahead of Friday release
- Early pre-orders of the Apple Watch Series 7 are now preparing to ship.
- Pre-orders for the new device opened on Friday, and the first orders will be shipped for next Friday.
- The Apple Watch Series 7 has larger displays and an updated design.
This usually happens at least a few days before the device will be shipped to customers, although it doesn’t mean that orders will arrive early. Apple works closely with shipping carriers to ensure that orders largely arrive on release day. The Apple Watch Series 7 will also be available in Apple Stores from Friday 15th October, although stock is expected to be limited.
The Apple Watch Series 7 has larger 41mm and 45mm displays, with 20 percent more screen than the Series 6. It also has brighter always on display technology, faster charging, an S7 chip and new Midnight, Starlight, Green, Blue and (PRODUCT)RED finishes.
Apple has experienced manufacturing issues with the Apple Watch Series 7 and only announced the pre-order and release dates less than one week ago.
