  • Apple could increase the price of all iPhone 13 models by up to 5%
  • The price rise may come due to increases in costs from manufacturers

Apple plans to increase the price of all iPhone 13 models when they are launched later this fall, according to DigiTimes. If the report is correct, prices could go up by 3-5%. We have compiled an estimation for 3%, 5%, and 10% price increases for all models below (prices rounded up).

For a 3% increase:

  • iPhone 13 mini: $719 (currently $699)
  • iPhone 13: $819 (currently $799)
  • iPhone 13 Pro: $1029 (currently $999)
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max: $1130 (currently $1099)
  • For a 5% increase:

  • iPhone 13 mini: $735
  • iPhone 13: $839
  • iPhone 13 Pro: $1049
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max: $1150
  • For a 10% increase:

  • iPhone 13 mini: $769
  • iPhone 13: $880
  • iPhone 13 Pro: $1099
  • iPhone 13 Pro Max: $1209
  • TSMC, the manufacturer that produces the chips in the iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other Apple products, reportedly plans to increase production costs by early 2022.

It could mean that Apple will increase prices for the iPhone 13 by 3-5%, marking the first significant price change in two years (in the US market). Prices for other products, including the redesigned iPad mini 6 and new MacBook Pro models, could also be higher.

    DigiTimes explains:

For TSMC's advanced sub-7nm process technologies, quotes will rise by 3-10%, the sources indicated. Apple, the biggest client of TSMC with its orders accounting for over 20% of the foundry's total wafer revenue, will experience a 3-5% price hike

Apple will launch four new iPhone models in less than one month’s time. Click here to catch up on the latest iPhone 13 rumors.
