Primate Labs has released Geekbench 6, the latest version of its cross-platform benchmarking suite. Geekbench 6 moves away from single-threaded CPU numbers and incorporates machine learning and other workloads that more accurately reflect how modern devices are used. The updated software includes new tests that measure how people use their devices in true-to-life examples, such as background blur during video conferences, photo filters used by social media apps, object detection for AI workloads, and text processing for parsing and converting markdown and regex in Python.
