This comes just days after The Dow eclipsed a milestone of 30,000
Apple shares inched slightly higher on Wednesday (0.75% higher to $116.03), on what proved to be a mixed trading session for the stock market. Apple shares closed $21.95 short of its 52-week high ($137.98), which the company reached on September 2nd. The NASDAQ Composite Index rose 0.48% to 12,094.40 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.58% to 29,872.47. AAPL stock outperformed some of its competitors Wednesday, such as Microsoft, Alphabet (Google), and IBM.
