Apple ends Sprint iPhone activations, removes references from website
- Apple has removed all references to Sprint from its online store.
- Previously, Sprint customers could activate lines through T-Mobile.
- This comes three years after T-Mobile acquired Sprint.
According to MacRumors, the changes seem to have gone into effect today, with all references to Sprint gone from Apple’s website. Before today, Sprint customers could still activate Sprint devices through the T-Mobile network, and Sprint carrier deals were listed. Now, Sprint connection options are gone when completing a purchase on Apple’s online store.

Though Sprint carrier options were still available prior to today, Sprint customers have been transitioning to T-Mobile for the past three years so this change should not affect many customers.
