Earth Day: Apple is donating $1 per every transaction on Apple Pay
- Apple is going to donate $1 per transaction to Conservation International.
- The promotion will go on until April 22.
- Apple also announced several other initiatives and small events for Earth Day.

Now through April 22, Apple will donate $1 for every purchase made with Apple Pay on apple.com, through the Apple Store app, or at an Apple Store. Donations are limited to a maximum of $1 million. The donation goes to Conservation International.
Apple shared the promotion in an email to Apple Pay users, while also featuring sustainable clothing and accessories brands like Allbirds, Pela, and The North Face. The company also promoted their Apple TV+ documentary "The Year Earth Changed," which debuts this Friday.
Apple will also mark Earth Day this year with virtual creative sessions hosted in collaboration with artist and author Oliver Jeffers. Families and individuals can sign up for two live events on April 22.
Meanwhile, the company also announced a $200 million dollar Restore Fund, which plans to remove 1 million metric tons of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere annually. The Restore Fund will aid towards Apple’s goal of becoming carbon neutral across their business by 2030.
