New MacBook Airs and MacBook Pro set to get M3 chip
- New sources claim that both rumored MacBook Air models will feature M3 chips.
- An updated 13-inch MacBook Pro will also reportedly feature the same chip.
- It's likely we could see these products introduced at WWDC in June.
According to these new rumors, the new 13-inch MacBook Air (codenamed J513) and 15-inch MacBook Air (codenamed J515) will be launched together and will both feature entry-level M3 chips. Just like the M1 and M2 chips, these will feature 8-core CPUs.

9to5Mac’s sources also indicate that Apple is working on a new 13-inch MacBook Pro (codenamed J504), featuring the same new entry-level M3 chipset.It is not clear when these new MacBook models will be announced, but Mark Gurman suggests we could see at least the Air models at WWDC in June. It seems likely that the updated MacBook Pro would be launched then as well.
